Breaking news!Roses has scooped yet another award!  We are proud to announce that we have won the 'taste of Cheshire' award at the visit Chester and Cheshire's Marketing Cheshire awards Friday 18th of November 2011. Competition was tough and we were up against some big guys in the industry but we were chosen because of our commitment to local sourcing, our passion for good fresh food and excellent service. Presenter of the evening BBC North West's Diane Oxley added that she was particluraly impressed by the number of local producers (24) we source from within a 20 miles radius of the tea rooms.
The evening was well attended by elite representatives of the hospitality industry. Our team was represented by Andreas, Christina, Robin and Colette who thoroughly enjoyed themselves and felt very proud. In turn we are extremely proud of all our team as each and every single member has contributed to Roses winning this prestigious award. We are now going through to the national finals! Hooray!! Roses at Ness Since relocating in August 2010 from our small premises in Heswall village we have been able to offer you much more! Housed in the spacious and bright visitor centre, you can tuck into a hearty breakfast, light lunch or decadent afternoon tea, indulge in our famous home baking (don’t miss the buttermilk scones!), all washed down by a super duper selection of speciality beverages from loose leaf teas, freshly ground coffees, rich hot chocolates, English juices or ice cream milkshakes.
Family Fun We love families, that’s why we don’t have tablecloths or other fussy and unnecessary formalities. Children can choose from their own menu of homemade choices including nursery afternoon tea. And how fabulous it is to then be able to walk all that yummy stuff off with a leisurely relaxed walk around the 64 acres of award winning gardens?
Functions for everyone You can also host your special celebration here and enjoy all our scrumptious treats with friends and family at your baby shower, birthday party, graduation, anniversary or any other function. For your upcoming wedding there’s no better place then Ness gardens providing the perfect backdrop in any season.
